Ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 the Trophy travelled around the world as well as around different locations in England and Wales. The Trophy travelled around the UK for 100 consecutive days before arriving at the Cricket World Cup Opening party ahead of the tournament.

THE BRIEF.
Create a usable toolkit for the Trophy Tour. This includes a trophy tour kit which can easily travel around the UK, marketing assets, event branding and a digital toolkit. 

With the Trophy Tour being fully electric, and on the road consecutively for a 100 days the kit had to be easy to transfer, and compactable to fit in a Nissan Leaf. This included a Trophy plinth, backdrop, bunting, flags and signage. A bigger specialised kit was also designed for bigger fanzone events. There was also digital assets created for partners to use, as well as OOH and digital marketing assets.

The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 was hosted at 10 different locations across England and Wales.


THE BRIEF.
Bring the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 (CWC19) to life. Sell tickets, improve visibility of the sport, create the ultimate fan experience. 

With the CWC19 being a major sporting event being hosted, there was a range of branding required with a variety of stakeholders and agencies involved across the organisation from both a LOC and IOC side. Branding for event was colossal, and included all pre-event branding and marketing, to everything you see on-site, including signage, maps, uniform and stadium branding.

The customer journey as a ticket holder had to be considered, from both a standard ticket holder to a hospitality ticket. They had to experience high level experience from both applying, to receiving their tickets and stepping foot into the cricket ground.

Fleet Branding
This included cars, taxi's, team buses and an Emirates plane. Some were for marketing purposes, where as some were for event transport. 
Due to security reasons, when branding team buses the decision was to make these generic and to not directly brand these team specific.

City Dressing
Ahead of the tournament a variety of city dressing and marketing assets were created to advertise the event and to drive ticket sales.
These included lamp post banners, building dressings, train station branding. Each city had different specs, so a suite of assets would need to be created for each locations. Specific partner requirements also needed to be considered to ensure rights were considered.

Stadium Branding
Once onsite, branding was required for in-bowl branding, hospitality areas, media, franchises, seating, team areas and way finding.

Cricketeers (Volunteer) Branding
The decision behind the Cricketeers branding and kit was to make it bright, so they would stand out from the crowd and be visible both inside and outside the stadiums.

Marketing and OOH Branding
There was a range of OOH branding used across the 10 venue locations, as well as marketing events such as 100 days to go.

Ticketing
Designing tickets for standard ticket holders, hospitality and venue club members

Digital and Social Media
Creating bespoke social graphics, and well as marketing assets for paid advertising. We worked with Two Circles to design our paid advertising to specific target audiences.
