Following the announcement of triathlon mixed relay in the Olympics in Tokyo 2020, the Mixed Relay Cup event is a chance to showcase the new shorter element of triathlon. The mixed relay is a team of 2 men and 2 women racing in a high-speed much shorter triathlon which is much more entertaining for the audience. 

THE BRIEF.
Develop a brand and event identity for the new Mixed Relay Triathlon Format

As this was a new event format to the series, I designed the event brand and identity for what the race should look like. The Mixed Relay Cup became a series of event in the lead up to Tokyo 2020. The event took place in Nottingham on Saturday 2 September and showcased the best of British and International teams. I was in-charge of event branding, promotional material, city dressing, team kits, map designs and spectator guides.
